Membership Application

 

The Linear Collider Forum of America (LCFOA) is a not-for-profit 501 (c) (6) corporation registered in the District of Columbia providing a formal network for its U.S. industry members with a common business interests to interact with U.S. government funded R&D efforts during the design and siting of International Linear Collider (ILC).  Membership is subject to the approval of the LCFOA Board of Directors (BOD) and is open to small and large U.S. companies, foreign companies performing ILC related work at their U.S. subsidiaries, DOE M&O contractors and U.S. universities. Similar organizations within the Americas may also apply for membership. Bylaws for the LCFOA governance and operations are available. To request a copy, contact ken.olsen@lcfoa.org.

 

All members of the LCFOA have an equal privileges and voting status and are eligible to serve of the board of directors as outlined in the bylaws. Annual membership fees are as stated below:

 

 

(a) U.S. companies eligible for U.S. Government Small Business Innovative Research contracts (SBIR) as defined in http://www.science.doe.gov/sbir/solicitations/fy%202006/definitions.htm##3.3
Note: If elected to the BOD, dues are $1000.00

(b) M&O contractor for a major DOE National Laboratory:

$10,000.00

 

(c) U.S. University: 

$1,000.00

 

(d) U.S. industry with more than 500 total employees: 

$2,000.00

 

(e) Foreign industry with more that 500 total employees committing to performing any U.S. funded ILC work in the U.S.:

$2,000.00

 

(f) Foreign industry with less than 500 total employees committing to performing any U.S. funded ILC work in the U.S.:

$500.00

 

(g) Technical and scientific trade groups:

$500.00
